I love to travel! I wish I did more of it—but sometimes other priorities win out! My bucket list includes plans to see a few destinations that I haven’t yet visited in our own beautiful country, as well as several European and Latin American hot spots! Traveling is a great experience for young children and teenagers. My students often travel with their families during holiday breaks and in the summer. I love when they share their stories and pictures and it inspired me to create a product that was travel-themed. Based on my student’s interest in seeing the world, I think it will be a big hit in the therapy room! So today I am introducing Language Advisor: A Trip Through the Emerald Isle! Check out what’s included and enter the giveaway below! You’ll have a chance to win your very own copy of this versatile product that covers so many language goals. And it’s a great way to address the St. Patty’s Day theme with your older kiddos without being too juvenile or babyish!

I love this packet. I am imagining it engaging my secondary students and getting them interested in travel as well as learning at the same time. I too love to travel and aspire to travel to 50 countries in my lifetime (I am at 25) and I love to share that with my students.
Thanks for this fun idea!

This activity targets so many important areas! I love that it has that “Something for everyone” touch. I also think it’s nice to get students learning about different places outside of the city they live in (which is sometimes the case), as well as learning more about the country they live in and it’s culture by doing a St. Patrick’s Day themed activity. Thanks so much for making if a giveaway!

My upper grades would benefit because it will expand their knowledge of the world. They can’t think past their little town because they’ve never been many places.

Susan–that is so true for so many of our students! I hope this activity will inspire them to someday visit far away places and learn more about other cultures. In the meantime, I hope you find this a valuable and interesting way of working on language skills! Look for more installments of “Language Advisor” in the future! Good luck with the giveaway!

This looks amazing. One of my goals for my older groups is to expose them to more cultures and places around the world as many of them have never been outside of our small town. This product would be a wonderful addition. I hope you continue to make more of these packets.
